Hi Nina. As a seasoned early childhood art educator with over three decades of experience, I have facilitated numerous professional development opportunities for early childhood educators both nationally and internationally. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, I incorporate authentic art materials in my teaching, offering open-ended art experiences that encourage sensory exploration and play. Through art activities, I aim to foster early childhood literacy, language development, and brain growth. By engaging children (in my art studio) in hands-on, self-directed learning through art, I help them develop crucial cognitive, social, emotional, and multi-sensory skills. In my teacher workshops, I present the latest evidence-based research on the neuroscience of art-making and its positive effects on early brain development and language acquisition. Educators who attend my sessions gain insight into both theoretical concepts and practical strategies for delivering high-quality art experiences using authentic materials.
My fees are very modest because I realize early childhood educators have limited financial resources. It is more important to me that I get the message out about providing quality open-ended art experiences for little children. I do both in-person and online sessions. Hi Martha,
The sticker shock is what prompted me to post here! I tried to get several local preschools to share the costs, but we couldn't figure out a day and even splitting the cost, it was too much. But I hope I can find a time to pool our resources and have Lisa in the future. Thank you for the suggesting and for understanding!

I agree, Lisa Murphy, is a must see. I've seen her several times, The first time was the best. She has a variety of presentations so matching her content to the audience may prevent a re-run for attendees. You might have sticker shock with the speaker fee if your organization has a tight budget but we in EC are used to tight budgets. Her talent and message are unique and impactful which brings enthusiasm to the event.

Hello!
I'm looking at staff development for the coming year in process art and sensory play. Does anyone have great recommendations?
I am in Fort Worth, TX.
I love my staff, but we need a refresher in process art -- the crafts and coloring sheets are about to send me over the edge!
Thank you,
