EC is rapidly changing and NAEYC's use of a survey as a way for members to inform the changes is our chance to engage from where we are. Hello continues to be a benefit to my practice which keeps me renewing my membership each year. The recent question topic, "Is it worth it?", is an example of one way we can use our individual and collective voices to support each other, sustain the workforce, and promote our profession. I already submitted my survey response, and now have something to add to it. It would be great for Hello to have a feature for state by state connection and outreach. Using Hello to quickly get information delivered to members' in-boxes would greatly benefit our efforts as affiliates and Chapters of affiliates. Advocacy is another reason I retain my NAEYC membership. Hello is a resource that can be used to advocate for each other, our work, and, most importantly, our children and the families that love them. Optimizing Hello to strengthen the work across affiliates and Chapters will build deeper connections and amplify our collective impact.
