  • 1.  FREE Screening Tool

    Hi! One of my course instructors is looking for a screening tool for developmental domains for ages birth-5.  So many of the assessments are costly. Anyone know of a free tool they might utilize for a case study requirement? Thanks for your input in advance!

    The CDC has a free milestone tracking tool and their website for 2 month to 5 years that might be helpful.

    Thank you. This was very helpful. I wasn't aware that milestones had been updated.

    At the beginning of the school year, I give a hard copy of the milestones to each of my families. I ask them to put it on the refrigerator to help them refer to it throughout the year. I believe this quick reference helps answer questions that may be on their mind and also an excellent resource to go to for anything else.

    Hello hope this helps , our programs in our state used the Ages And Stages Questionnaires screening tool . It is reliable, and cost-effective . I have found this to be an exceptional resource for Early Childhood Professional. What are thoughts or ideas from others Early Professionals?

    I would suggest ASQ and ASQ SE.  I was able to obtain a training from a local Resource and Referral agency and received all the tools needed with it with permission to copy and reproduce as it is copyrighted. One time cost.
