Also seconding @Charisse Thomas - you can always try reaching out to your school district or local elementary school where this child might be attending to see if they have a TVI on staff (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) and/or an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (they should have at least one of the two!) which can provide resources for you. If the child is 9, I'm assuming they have a 504 or IEP in place for vision accommodations. I would see if you could obtain a copy of that to get a better idea of how to meet this child's needs. Collaboration is always a wonderful tool when you have the right people in place!

Hi there!
I have some resources in storage that I'll try to access today or tomorrow for you. What areas are you specifically looking for support in? Are there any other conditions paired with this child's CVI? That will help me pare down what I have for you. I once worked with kiddos ages 0-7 in a special setting just for those with vision impairments and am happy to help where needed.

Hi! Does anybody have any resource recommendations for young children (9yo) affected by CVI? Thanks in advance!
