Please, I would like to hear suggestions for ways a family child care (FCC) program can reduce the likelihood of bringing the COVID-19 virus into the FCC home?
Some suggestions I have gathered are:
1. Ask parents to wash their child's hands just prior to leaving their home for the trip to the FCC home.
2. Ask families to frequently sanitize the car they use to transport the children.
3. Upon arrival, have each child immediately wash their hands.
4. Upon arrival, have each child immediately change into clothes that have been cleaned and kept at the FCC home.
5. Do not allow the adults to enter the home. Conduct all sign-in and sign-out outside of the FCC home.
6. Prohibit the families from bringing toys, etc. into the FCC home.
Finally, do the aforementioned seem reasonable, practical, and more importantly in any way effective?
