Hello Rosemary,
NAEYC is a trusted source for professional development and I would like to share some of our upcoming opportunities.
Starting June 1, NAEYC will offer six weeks of weekday sessions based on the diverse topics and presenters that are typically featured at the Professional Learning Institute. Each session is open to anyone at no charge, our gift to you for all that you give to young children and their families. Stay tuned for more information. There will be topics of interest for teachers, administrators, trainers, faculty and more!
I would also like to share that NAEYC's online professional development modules introduce early childhood educators to core ideas from NAEYC's position statements, books, and journals. Our online modules provide self-paced, interactive learning that connects professional knowledge to daily practice through practical strategies that bolster instructional approaches. NAEYC's one hour modules are only $10 through May 15, 2020. Use code SPRING20 at checkout.
Additionally, NAEYC brings the experts directly to your computer screen. Next week we're featuring David J Schonfeld, MD, a developmental-behavioral pediatrician and Director of the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement at Children's Hospital Los Angeles who will present on Talking to and Supporting Children and Ourselves During the Pandemic on Thursday, May 7th, 2020 from 3:00–4:00 p.m. EDT. You can find upcoming NAEYC webinars here!

Subject: Sources of online professional development
The Northern Virginia AEYC has been hearing from directors, especially those with closed programs, that their staff are using this time for professional development.
Given that different staff will have different needs, what's the best way for a director to find online reputable professional development opportunities? More specifically, are there national organizations that are gathering information about reliable online professional development opportunities that we can send directors to?
