Hello,
I'm a parent of two children in a school-district-run Infant Toddler program in Ridgewood, NJ. The 33-year-program has been revenue neutral until the pandemic but is now facing headwinds from two BOE trustees who want to either shut the program down or privatize it due to a pandemic deficit (we feel it is unfair to judge a program for an unprecedented pandemic -- also the defecit amounts to .03 percent of the school district budget). I'm wondering if there are any other school-district-run daycares I might connect with for advice. I know of a few in NJ (we have spoken with Evesham which received a lot of coverage for the passage of
SB NJ S3330). Speaking with them has been extremely helpful and I was curious if there were others throughout the US?
Thanks,
Kristi Reilly
