Good Afternoon Ms. Pollack,
I am sorry that you too are dissatisfied with the E-Book member benefit. Many of our publications are still available for purchase in hard copy, however the book benefits for Standard Members is now provided in E-Book form.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I would be happy to speak with you.
Regards,
Donna E. Davis

I so agree!! I had a difficult time downloading the ebook as well. And I have the same concerns as I also use the NAEYC publications as references in my classes. When I spoke to NAEYC I was told hard copies were just not available. I am interested to hear the response NAEYC gives to us.

I am new to this forum but I have been very frustrated with the change to getting an eBook rather than a hard copy of books and journals as a benefit. I have a macbook and could not figure out how to download the book which means I don't get that benefit.
I teach in a university and often have used NAEYC books I get as a means of determining course textbooks. However, if I can't get a book, I can't decide whether or not I want to use that book.
Why were we not consulted about this change last year? I'm seriously thinking of not renewing my membership if I don't receive a benefit for being a member. NAEYC, do better! Respect our need for a real book or at least give us a choice as to whether we want a hard copy of a book or a downloadable one.
