Hello!  My team provides training for providers to gain their required number of training hours for their state licensing.  We are revising our policies regarding Zoom training attendance and I would love to hear what others are doing.  We are particularly looking at what it means to be "engaged" in the training.  Does anybody have something they are willing to share?  We are looking at things like if they are in front of the camera, how much we can allow them to multitask while in the training, etc.  We seem to be having a difficult time with participants doing other things (going to bingo, being on an exercise bike) when we ask for them to single-task by attending the training without distraction.  Does anyone have any guidance they would like to share?

Our program in the past have given us an answer sheet to fill out after a Zoom training session. We have to sign it and then send via email or Teams the sheet in for proof. That may be an idea to get them to engage in the training. Possibly you could add an activity they have to complete based on something in the training & send proof when implemented or a resource site they have to check out and report on. If they don't pay attention, they may not be able to complete these outside activities.
