Any ideas for Earth Day projects for toddlers? We've made toilet paper roll bird feeders, and planted grass seeds.
I'm thinking of perhaps a nature scavenger hunt in our greenbelt.
    Other ideas?

Sensory table activities are always a big hit. We put compost material bulbs pots & shovels in ours for a few weeks and then we will take the whole tray out doors and plant them all together.
along the same lines for a craft/book project; read Ava's Poppy. We do a watercolor & coffee filter project also this week. There's always painted egg carton flowers with pipe cleaner stems..

    Those are great ideas, Susan!
It's also a great opportunity for mud and/or water play. You could also have a variety of sensory bins with various natural materials: river rocks, dirt, sand, water, leaves, etc. These materials can also serve as open-ended art materials. Have the children collect items to add to the bins.
Have an outdoor picnic (real or pretend) and then lay on your backs and do some cloud watching.
    Enjoy exploring the Earth's gifts!
