    Hi everyone, 

    Looking for help re: assessment tools! Our preschool is currently in the review process of assessment tools for our new Child Assessment Plan. If you've experienced any of the following assessment tools please share your thoughts and feedback! If the one you are currently using is amazing and terrific and not listed here, please pass the name along! Much appreciated!

    Hi Talia,
    As a teacher, my favorite assessment tool was the Work Sampling System. The format has changed in that teachers no longer need to create the documentation portfolio (which was my favorite part), but the tools are still a great fit for emergent curriculum and play-based learning.

    Hi Talia! I recommend looking at COR Highscope. At my site we recently switched to Teaching Strategies and my staff are finding it much more difficult to navigate and get reports out on time. Cor was more organized and easier to get things entered. I hope that helps!

    Thank you so much Angela. Teaching Strategies seems like it will have a very intricate of a learning curve. I've heard of Highschope and will look into it!
