In the over over twenty years I have been an early childhood education, I have worked with a wide range of ages, cultures and backgrounds. I have experience as a teacher, a supervisor and as a consultant. I earned my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Saint Rose located in Albany, NY. I also have been approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health as an Early Childhood Education Consultant.
The early childhood field means more to me than just working with children. I have a passion for this field and the difference in which I can make within it. This is what has driven to me want to become a consultant as well as a Professional Development Specialist with the Council for Professional Recognition. To be honest, I consider myself an early childhood nerd because of the amount of time and energy I devote to keeping up with early childhood research and development.
When I am not working with fellow early childhood teachers, I am teaching First Aid and CPR for the American Red Cross. I have been an instructor for American Red Cross since 2010.
As I grow professionally, I look to support others seeking the same goals.
