    Hi Everyone,

I really enjoy reading the different information that passes through this forum. I gain a lot of great ideas and insight into a variety of topics! I'm currently evaluating various online master's options in Early Childhood Education. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of programs you have participated in. I have been in the field for almost 25 years, working in the classroom for the first 7 years and then in an administrative role. I am currently working as a consultant and trainer. I'd love to find something that has a focus in birth to 5. My work has been and will continue to be in a preschool setting. I greatly appreciate any insight and suggestions you may have!

    Thank you for your time!

    Jennifer

    Good morning,

I would recommend Champlain College. I'm currently completing an online Master's in Early Childhood Education with them. I looked at multiple programs and ultimately chose this one because of the focus on Early Childhood Education. My experience has been fantastic.

Wishing you well on your search!

    Hi Jennifer!

Towson University in MD has a great Early Childhood Ed program. I know they were running a completely virtual, online cohort, but I'm not sure when they're starting again. It's a great university with a large education department!

I earned my Master of Science degree in Early Childhood and Family Development from Missouri State University.  The program is offered all online.  I was happy with my experience.

    Hello,

I am in Texas and did a Master in Early Childhood Education online through Stephen F. Austin University. I enjoyed the program very much and recommend it!

Hello Jennifer, I received my Master's in Educational Leadership, with an Early Childhood Ed concentration from University of North Florida.  The program is fully online, and was a fantastic experience.  They accept applicants for Fall and Spring semesters.  All the best to you and your new pursuits!

    Hi Jennifer,
Finding a Master's degree program that works for you and your life is complicated. It took me many years to find the right fit. I am currently enrolled at Portland State University. Classes are roughly 11-week with short breaks in between, and the program is year-round with 4 semesters. I really love the program so far. Classes are interesting, engaging, and applicable to the work we do. There is a sense of community even though it's an online program. Best of luck in finding a good fit!

I also graduated from Portland State's program a few years back and really enjoyed it. The instructors are passionate, the coursework is relevant, and the workload is manageable.

Hope you find the right program for you! Best of luck!
