    Hello Early Childhood Friends!

We are looking for a dynamic Keynote Speaker for an October 26, 2024 local conference serving 300 early educators in northern Indiana (South Bend, Indiana). This will be our third year and our first year in 2022 Jim Gill was our keynoter with an inspirational topic of Joyful Learning as we returned to face to face connections. In 2023, Carla Gull, EdD was the keynote presenting Math, Loose Parts and Nature, which was fabulous.  Thank you in advance for sharing suggestions regarding dynamic speakers you have appreciated hearing and learning from.

    Gratefully,

    Terri Kosik

    Early Childhood Coalition Director

    Terri,

I just noticed you are in Indiana and I am not sure about your budget but Mary Jo is from Indiana and you could discuss with her the topic.

I have attended sessions by these educators at the NAEYC national, conference or been in meetings with them, read their work online and in books. Engaging with them in their sessions, and other media have been enriching experiences that support me in my educator and mentor roles. Fun too!

Hello. I highly recommend Carol Aghayan. Carol conducts an amazing Keynote called Move to the Beat: Using Music and Movement to Inspire and Engage. I've seen her have over 300 EC professionals singing, dancing and interacting with passion and excitement as they explore research based best practices and begin their day.  Her session is a wonderful way to start a conference!! Carol's email is caghay1@cox.net  Carol is a renowned early childhood trainer and also the author of several publications.

I am also a very experienced national trainer and present on a variety of training topics at conferences and webinars.  My 2 most popular sessions are Practical Strategies and Tips for Children with Sensory Challenges  and Scribbles, Strokes and Shapes (emergent writing). My email is bnoble1673@gmail.com if anyone is interested.

Many, many thanks for the many responses to the inquiry for keynote speaker recommendations for our annual conference at Saint Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana. We have arranged for a speaker through the recommendations received here and have names of many going forward into the future. Grateful for the new early childhood connections and expanded network. Gratefully yours, Terri

Hi, Dr. James. I agree with your recommendation of Dr. Desautels. Her work is transformative. I attended one of her workshops, and was able to apply her techniques immediately. There are many resources on her website, especially for behavioral supports.
