Have you tried placing an ad with your local Community college - Danville Area Community College?
I saw that they offer 2 programs that might have students that would want to work part time.
Career Degree: EARLY CHILDHOOD: CHILDCARE OPTION and
Career Certificate: EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHING ASSISTANT
We have also had a terrible time recruiting Assistants for our childcare. Our problem is that our school district has a lower pay rate than the surrounding childcare centers. We pay $12.66 per hour.
I hope you find an assistant & that you can get the support you need for your own continued education.
I don't know if our Mentor Program in California could help point you towards finding further support.

Subject: Hard To Find Assistant and Support
I have been seeking for a part time daycare assistant since August 2018. I also have been seeking classes to finish up my 3 Credentials as well trying to find a accurate real support group for small town daycare providers such as myself. I am experiencing racism and it sucks. Yet I am wondering where can I get some unbias, everyone is equal group support; get adequate directions on course for my credentials, and reliable and dependable assistant? I was turned down for the headstart collaboration without any further explanation on why?
