    Hi Everyone,
We are in the process of updating our sanitation handbook to align with the new accreditation items. I was wondering if anyone could share their procedure for cleaning board books. We start at age 6 months and have an infant class and a toddler class where the books are used.
Also, any procedures for cleaning library bound books?
    Thanks!

HI. While I can't help you with your board books, I thought you might like to know that the Highlights magazine company produces an infant/toddler magazine using a polymer material that feels like stiff paper, but is really a kind of plastic. Those "magazines" are available in English and Spanish. They can be tossed in the dishwasher or washing machine. And the name of the magazine is... coincidentally... Hello!

I purchase book cleaning materials from a Library supply company called Demco.  You can find them online.
