I agree, teachers need to be Physically fit, to play outdoors with children and be role models for children to love outdoor play and move around. Instead of being indoors and doing activities sitting on desks. We can encourage our young generation to be more active and learn from nature and love and respect nature.

We're role models for the children. Teachers should model a healthy lifestyle.

I strongly believe that teachers should somewhat be physically fit to handle some type of physical exercise with young children. Especially since obesity is entering into our young children life, we need teachers to have some type of physical fitness under their belt. Therefore, children can start to do or like some form of exercise.

Subject: question about physical fitness of teachers
I'm wondering if anyone has addressed the question of physical fitness of teachers. Does anyone has any kind of assessment in place to determine whether or not a teacher can perform the physical tasks necessary for the job?
Thank you
