Hi,
I found Teaching Strategies Gold Online system very useful. Because it starts from birth and goes up to 3rd grade you can rate children on a full spectrum of development despite their age. They also have a complete rubric which accompanies the system with examples of what each stage looks like. If you choose the online system many types of reports can be accessed as well including individual development as well as <g class="gr_ gr_67 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="67" data-gr-id="67">classroom</g>. Best of all it is based on Authentic Assessments: photo's work samples, observations, checklists, etc. I also liked the Work Sampling System for similar reasons. We started with the Early Screening Inventory as a screening tool.

I am researching assessment tools that will demonstrate growth in math and literacy skills for our <g class="gr_ gr_59 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="59" data-gr-id="59">3 year olds</g>. We have tried using the <g class="gr_ gr_55 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="55" data-gr-id="55">CPALLS</g> assessment but since it is applicable to children 3.5 and older it really isn't meeting our needs. Are there any other assessments currently in use that can be used to measure the cognitive development of <g class="gr_ gr_58 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="58" data-gr-id="58">3 year olds</g> specifically over the course of a year?
