  • 1.  NAEYC conference in TN

    I have the opportunity to attend the conference this year. I've been reviewing sessions in the itinerary planner. Is there a process to sign up for selected sessions before arriving to the conference? I may very well be missing a specific instruction regarding this, but I would appreciate some guidance. Paula

    Paula, there's no sign up but you just go. I would recommend to always have 2 options (maybe even 3) for each time slot. If the session starts and it wasn't what you thought it would be, get up and go to your next option. There's so much to learn and so many people to meet. Have a great time. Donna

    Hi Paula,
    I'm happy to hear that you'll be joining us in Nashville. 

    The only sessions that you need to sign up for before conference are our Preconference Workshops. These full-day sessions take place on November 19, the day before conference begins. Click here for a full list of Preconference workshops, topics, times, and costs for each. 

    Your conference registration gives you access to all other sessions. There is no need to sign up for individual sessions.  Once our Annual Conference Mobile App is live, you can simply choose the sessions you'd like to attend and create your own personal schedule. Sometimes sessions fill up or you might miss one that you hoped to attend so, I would choose back up sessions as well just in case :) For now, continue to plan your time at conference by visiting the Itinerary Planner.

    Paula,
    How exciting that you will be going to the annual conference! The sessions that you can pre-register for are the ones that are listed as pre-conference, held on Tuesday.
    The others are not.  Some are SRO but most have seating.
    Please plan ahead with your conference book or the app.
    Sometimes sessions are canceled so if you have a back up plan, that is good.
