    Hi,

I know medical benefits in our professional is not offered by the majority of child care centers due to the high cost. We're struggling like everyone else to attract quality educators. However, more and more I'm seeing benefits advertised. My question is simple...how do you manage the cost of benefits? Are there organizations you might suggest we consult for guidance? We are in a small church setting with approximately 16 staff and just under 100 children. Almost all of the staff is full-time.  Do any of you simply offer a "stipend" toward health insurance instead of actually providing the insurance?

Any advice and guidance is appreciated.

Look into a QERSHA reimbursement program. You can set an allowance for reimbursing expenses.
