I recently did an online training on working with diverse populations and taking the implicit bias test was part of that training. I really appreciated knowing my results (I tested as having some biases that I didn't expect). It might be hard to do in a group setting (everyone working at their own pace, etc). But I would recommend that staff do the appropriate tests before they come to the training and then discuss their results. Good luck!

Subject: Implicit Bias Test?
I am not familiar with this test, however, I can offer a resource for further information. Walter Gilliam at the Yale Child Study Center did a recent research study in this area. The link is below:

Has anyone used the Implicit Association Test with their staff as a component of ongoing anti-bias professional development? How did you do it? Do you have any advice or suggestions?
