Clasp and Zero to Three have issued a report (attached) documenting the early onset of the achievement gap growing out of the tangle discriminatory policies and limited resources afforded infants and toddlers of color, particularly those from families living in poverty. Just one more reason for those of us in early childhood education to be social justice activists. The more we know and understand, the more impact we can have.
