    Hello!
I am new to this community and look forward to sharing ideas and receiving support from you. I believe that education starts from day one of a child's life. If I can educate our future teachers that they can work together with educators that work with children at an early age, will show community throughout. I'm a professor who teaches graduate students to be teachers and many believe that education starts in Kindergarten. They need to know their students and what each have been exposed to before they step foot into an elementary setting.

So, if you have any advice, lessons, or information that will help guide these future educators please let me know. Diversity, social and emotional, and restorative practices are big topics in our schools. Please share your insights so I can better prepare my students.

    Hi,
You have your hands full! It's challenging to unravel taught misinformation to adults. Hopefully they are required to take a infant/ toddler course that digs deep into the care and education of children to help them see where it begins. If not, start with infant care and highlight the importance of proper care and the foundation for learning begins within this time. Your greatest advantage is your position, they see you as the expert therefore they will believe and trust you!

Keep working for today for a better tomorrow!
