I am happy to hear you are creating a salary scale that is based on various criteria. It is recommended that a salary scale be based on role (e.g., lead teacher, teacher, assistant teacher), general education (e.g., AA, BA, MA), specialized training (coursework in ece or child development), years of experience, and credentials (e.g., nationally or state recognized such as an infant-toddler credential).
