Hi everyone, I am working with the age group of 3 to 4 years old. recently I got a child in my room with autism and challenging behavior. I am looking for some advise managing the inclusive classroom with 10 children.
Please, I am feeling very exhausted because some of the children in my room are new and never been to daycare.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nasima,

I understand how difficult your situation must be. Is there a way to ask your director for some help or intervention during times of transition or when children are having challenging behaviors? In this situation, a support person or inclusion aide should be hired to help you in the classroom.

In my state, the 10:1 ratio stands, but for this case, extra attention and care are needed for safety and to maintain class order.
