    Hi everyone,
Our first ever webinar, "Let's talk about whiteness in ECE" is coming up in just 3 more days.
Here's another pair of  questions from Ijumaa to get the conversation going:

    • How was race and/or racism discussed with you as a child? What impact do you think it's had on your racial identity?
    •  If there was little to no discussion of race and/or racism, what impact do you think it has had on your racial identity?

And here's the link to sign up for the webinar, in case you didn't get a chance before.

Can't wait to participate. For me race was not discussed, not in a personal way. Racism is bad, but no specifics.

I feel that it just made me not recognize my privilege. I did not know my place, I just knew, don't be racist, but no understanding of how racism created who I am.
