All thanks and praise is due to Vermont's awesome Maternal Child Health people and their leader Dr Breena Holmes, and the licensing staff at Vermont's Child Development Division. They are all too busy to share their good work beyond our state so its the least I can do Here's an update out this week.

I oversee 3 centers for our Health System.  Our infection control Dr.
has required all of our staff to wear masks while in the building.
She also suggested children 4 and older wear masks if they can use them without touching them too much.  They are doing great with
cloth masks.  Parents are also required to wear a mask as they drop off and pick up their children at the main lobby of the buildings.
    Stay well.

Texas licensing is now requiring that all students be dropped off and picked up from outside the front door of the centers.  Staff are required to wear gloves, mask and protective eye ware.  Centers are only allowed to provide services to "essential worker" families and the families are required to fill out a state mandated form that verifies that they are employed in an "essential worker" capacity.  These guidelines were issued by the Governor on March 31, however licensing just sent out the notice late yesterday afternoon.

I work in Medical Center Child Care in New Jersey. We are essential workers only. We are required to wear masks. Take temperatures of children at the door and bring children to the parents at the end of the day as the parents have been working in the hospital.
