    Hello, 

    Does anyone know of  if there is new guidance or protocols to use for the Environmental Ratings Scales for ECERS & ITERS?

    Hi Sheena, 

    Not sure if you are asking about guidance/protocols for using the scales now or new guidance in general. The authors did release a statement on using the scales during a pandemic, I've attached it with this reply. If your assessment is related to your state's QRIS, more specific guidance might be available from those contacts. I know meaningful ERS and CLASS observations at this time is a topic we are actively discussing here in Pennsylvania. 

    If you are asking about general guidance, new Notes for Clarification for the ECERS-3 and ITERS-3 were released in February. You can  always find the most recent updates on the ERS Institute webpage, www.ersi.info.

    I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but you can visit the site below for 2020 revisions of ITERS-R, ECERS-R and, SACERS-U. They have some great short refresher courses that are available for free. I hope this helps.
