    Greetings,

I know this is tenacious to consider but I was thinking if there was a way of connecting child care centers across the country that have vacant spaces that we could make available to refugees affected by the displaced population of Afghanistan.
I know it seems like such an impossible feat but honestly together we can do some amazing things to help those that need it most.

I realize that there are certain geographical areas that may be closer to the military bases that are supporting these brave families, so certain states may be more likely to see placement than others.

With all of the changes in our world due to COVID I would love to see us come together for others that have had unimaginable impacts on their world on top of everything.

Anyone out there have thoughts on this? XO thank you for reading :)

I love the idea of a positive response to this need. I wonder if any of the military bases where the families are being supported have child care programs available. It might help to connect with them to ask if they have space available and how the need is being handled currently.

    Linda Lou,
I took your thoughts and did a little research, it's quite tricky to find the tools to get in touch with this information. For obvious reasons I assume they keep it private for authorized persons only.

I have sent a few notes and asked some of my colleagues to see what ideas they have. Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated.

    Have a great week!
