Clarity on Who Can Participate in upcoming Virtual Institute

    Hi Everyone,
The upcoming Virtual Institute https://www.naeyc.org/virtual-institute will start on June 1st.  Do you have to be NAEYC member to participate?  Or can you create an account without joining?  Questions are coming up within my community about it as it does not seem clear on the website.
    Thank you,
    Debbie

I'm wondering as well - I am happy to have my staff of 17 set up accounts but cannot at this point afford 17 memberships.  Looking forward to hearing the answer.

    Hello!
NAEYC is making the Virtual Institute open to ALL regardless of membership status. There is no fee to set up a user account. All presentations are open to anyone at no charge, our gift to you for all that you give to young children and their families. Please visit https://www.naeyc.org/virtual-institute for more information and a link to create an account.

Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Virtual Institute.

    Anthony,
Thank you for the clarification Anthony. I waited to hear back and then asked a few interested colleagues (who are not members) to test it out by creating an account and it worked.

Will we be able to earn CEU's or certificates with hours for attending presentations?
               Thanks,

    Hello Tammy,

Each presentation will provide a personalized certificate of attendance. The certificate will include the attendee's name, title of the presentation, duration of the presentation and NAEYC's logo. Certificates will be available for download immediately following the presentation through the Virtual Institute event site. Certificates for all Virtual Institute presentations you attend can be accessed and downloaded by clicking the account icon with your name at the top-right corner of the platform.

It probably also would help if NAEYC emphasized that this year's online Institute is a free membership benefit.

For planning purposes, it would also be a good idea to have a calendar with topics and times.
