    Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out. I have benefitted from the updates globally and I am glad to be in the community of 'like-minded' professionals.

I am involved in conducting briefing sessions online for the practicum supervisors and adult learners who are student-teachers. I would like to engage them more such as conducting ice-breakers and discussion online. I wonder if there is any user friendly e-platform I could use? What are some user friendly online ice-breaker and discussion activities/ ideas that i could adopt?

    Thank you very much.

    Regards
    Sarene

I am preparing for my college classes and have found some great videos on You Tube. I searched "Zoom ice breakers" and "virtual engagement activities". Good luck!

    Hi!
We are embracing "Flidgrid" this semester to become more interactive: Flipgrid
It's super easy to use and I am loving that I can record short videos to show students pertinent info in the online course (I made a 5 minute tutorial on how to navigate the tabs!). They are actually using Flipgrid in our "College Success" class and using it for better Discussions.
    I haven't used it-but a lot of teachers/professors use Kahoot
    and EdPuzzle
I attended a training where the instructor used a LIVE poll (it was super cool!), so I plan on trying that this semester: Poll Everywhere

I think we just have to fool around with them, try them out and use them!  Good luck!
