Despite adhering to current state licensing regulations, many child care facilities may be located in an area prime for harmful environmental exposures- such as: next door to or within close proximity to a gas station, dry cleaner or nail salon.
Most states do not require a site-specific environmental assessment for child care facilities thus providers could be unknowingly locating their programs in contaminated places. Join the webinar to learn what is being done by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry and its state health department allies to ensure that child care facilities are located in safe places.
