Does anyone know of a program which can be presented to parent on fostering learning through everyday activities.  The target group is parents of  infants to pre kdgs, and both parent and child are together in the classes.  I am currently writing the lessons but would appreciate another resource.
    Thanks!

Zero to Three is a wonderful resource for families and practitioners!
Vroom is another resource that families can tap into on their phones/computers that delivers tips and information based on the age of the children they enroll in the free app.
These are two great family resources!
    Best of luck!

Some other resources that include activities for families to do at home…
    https://www.sesamestreet.org/toolkits/
    http://peepandthebigwideworld.com/en/

Recently available, Khan Academy Kids https://www.khanacademy.org/kids, a free app, offers a curriculum with "activities for kids ages 2 -5. Aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Common Core Standards."

There are ideas embedded within the app, such as looking for print all around you/cereal boxes, on street signs, etc that are presented through short animated clips. (which some parents may prefer to reading tipsheets/text suggestions.)

    Hi Susan,

You could check out the math games and short printable math books that my colleagues and I developed for a family engagement intervention. The games and other materials are great for children ages 3-6. The teachers and parents loved the materials and the children in the study ended the year with higher scores on a preschool math assessment.

    The website is www.ym.edc.org.
And we have several articles in Teaching Young Children that might be helpful to you.
