Thank you for a wonderful newsletter that brought me back to my philosophy of play.  I recently moved to Florida and have to take their online classes to become certified as a VPK teacher (despite already having a Master's Degree in EC Curriculum and Instruction).  While I understand their approach and the importance of having goals and standards, I felt that what I was seeing was too much teacher direction and not enough free play.  When I watched the children in the videos, many times they were not engaged or focused.  I began to question my approach.  When I read the newsletter and especially when I went to the Anji Play website, I was reaffirmed in my approach to letting children be the primary directors of their play.  As the Director of a new faith-based center that will open in a few months, you gave me some tools for training my staff.  Thank you!!!
