    Hello everyone,
I am a Director on a private faith-based Early Childhood Education Center. Currently we do not have early childhood intervention or services. I am in the initial phases of trying to determine how best to bring these things to our program. I am studying early childhood intervention in my Graduate program but I am looking for input from others who have made steps in that direction. I appreciate any information you can provide.
    Thanks
    Carla

Here in Tennessee we have a program called Tennessee Early Intervention System.  I would look into finding something like that in your state.  Also, our children's hospital here in Memphis has a program called LEAD that goes into the childcare centers and helps educators with anything they need for medically fragile children and also with behaviors and such.

Thank you for thinking of ways to bring early intervention services into your program; I look forward to seeing other resources and information on this!

Some resources I found that might be helpful are:
The Essentials: Supporting Young Children with Disabilities in the Classroom , the book provides general concepts for supporting children with varying abilities.
When in Doubt, Reach Out: Teaming Strategies for Inclusive Early Childhood Settings , In the article there is an overview of early intervention services and strategies for creating an inclusive early childhood setting.

The below articles mainly cover in-classroom practices and approaches, which may be helpful in thinking of ways to implement throughout your program, if not already implemented:
Assessing Opportunities to Support Each Child: 12 Practices for Quality Inclusion
Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: Increasing Social Communication with Evidence-Based Practices
Building Community in the Inclusive Classroom: Setting the Stage for Success
"How Are You Feeling?" Strategies for Helping Children Understand and Manage Emotions
