    Hello,

I am an educator and researcher about to begin an action research project on reading in the Early learning classroom. I have greatly benefited from the sharing of ideas, productive dialogue and support that a collaboration of educators can provide. If you are an educator willing to exchange inquiry and methodology ideas, a teacher researcher currently/previously engaged in a project, a mentor or just a good listener, please let me know. If you are aware of online groups that might support this venture, please let me know as well.

    Many thanks!

I just completed my action research project last semester on the effectiveness of social stories on increasing peer interventions in a preschool classroom. I'd be happy to listen and give advice.

    Hello,

I'm relatively new to social stories.  I work in a Montessori inspired preschool and see a need for more social emotional support.  I'm very interested in your findings.

    Thank you for your time,

    Brianna

So glad you are looking into the social emotion development of young children. Vital. A website you might like is Vanderbilt Center for Social Emotional Development.  CSEFEL.vanderbilt.edu   Great resources for families and educators and it is free.

Another good resource that you may want to look into is the P.E.A.C.E. website - peaceeducators.org. There are helpful lists for children and adults as well as articles to read.
