    Good Morning,

If I am doing the training or virtual meeting, etc. myself, I have certificates that I made myself off of pinterest or microsoft publisher.  You can adapt them to whatever you need and even add little symbols that are pertinent to the subject being taught.

    Hope this helps

Are you the one making the certificate or receiving it?

What if you are just attending webinars that do not have certificates, how do we account for those hours for continuing ed? Do we just print out that we registered for the webinar and that we attended?

    Thank you

Does your employer not have a professional development form for you do fill out when you do webinars? I like the idea of making your own certificate, too.

We are providing the certificates but are trying to figure out how they can download it after a virtual session.

We send them through email. Then when our employees go into the print screen, they choose to save as a pdf. I don't know if that helps.

For a certificate of participation we simple attack it to The key for us is to tie it to the evaluation so we get a better evaluation completion rate!  We use survey monkey for evaluation and than after the submit there is a way to force to another page  We have the certificate on a private page that no one can see on our website.  Upon completion of the evaluation they are forced to the certificate and will need to print and or save it.  Make sure they know that they will get it upon completion or many of them will tell you they have no way to print or save.  I give a tips on how to "print" as a PDF and email it to themselves so they can print later.

It is a little more complicated for our State credit as we have to verify full participation.  We have a question on our evaluation that asks if they should need State credit to enter their ID number because our evaluations are non identifiable.  Than we pull all of those ID numbers, verify full attendance and participation and email that certificate out.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks I think that's the route we will take.  I was definitely going to attach it to a survey response.

Most of our practitioners are following up with emailed certificates to the participants or are posting a link to a certificate in the chat for participants to download.  We have also had one speaker just mail all of the certificates to our school for distribution.

    Hi Helen,

We do a lot of online learning and will do a lot more very soon.

We chose an LMS (learning management system) which has certificates built in so we don't have to do it manually. LMS systems can cost $30/month or up to hundreds or thousands. In the future I strongly recommend your considering an LMS because it saves countless hours of manual work and can be at a very cheap cost. Feel free to email me if you want more specific suggestions.

?You're welcome. Among the popular LMS systems at low fee is Thinkific, Coursera, Udemy. Maybe one of these might work for you.?
