    Dear all,

I hope you are all well and safe. May is Asian America Pacific Heritage Month and we have put together a special tribute page to celebrate early childhood educators of Asian descent and educators who have been helping Asian American children and families thrive in the United States. Please take some time to view their profiles @ https://sandybabaece.wixsite.com/naeycaifeceresources

An update on our on-going COVID-19 ECE resource development, our NAEYC veteran member Debbie LeeKeenan is working with us to put together a special SIP (Shelter-In-Place) resource with sample DAP and CAP activities for young children to do at home with their caregivers. Debbie has been staying at home with her granddaughters and is providing SIP young children activities to the girls. We are very happy that Debbie is willing to share her experiences with us.

As always, we appreciate your continued support to AIF's mission. Please continue to hang in there, we will make this through!

    Best,
    Sandy

This is awesome. Thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed the videos.

Do you by any chance know if there will be something similar for Pasifika educators? I have some resources I'd be delighted to pass along if so :)

    Hello Vanessa!

I am SO glad you enjoyed the videos! When I watched them, it brought me both tears and joy. These videos serve as reminders to all of us that we all do our very best in the field to ensure we are providing the highest quality of care to the children and families we serve. Please help share the videos widely with your colleagues!

For the resource sharing and gathering for the Pasifika educators, we are currently curating resources from all NAEYC members, and please send us your recommended materials and we will include them in the list.

Please take good care of yourself and stay healthy and safe!

    Best,
    Sandy
