    About this Event

Join as we examine, discover practical tools, and deconstruct key concepts on our road to racial equity. This is the perfect time to study a topic that impacts us daily and take the opportunity to gain knowledge and strategies to push forward on how we can make a real difference in education and in our daily lives. Learning the psychology of race and having an effective dialogue can change the narrative for engaging within and outside of our circles, one step at a time. In education, it can change the narrative for engaging with BIPOC students and non-BIPOC students alike. This professional book discussion will challenge you!

This is a 6 week series targeted at educators and those of us who want to begin this work. All are certainly welcome. We will discuss 2-3 chapters at a time but more importantly it is about having a dialogue. In addition, resources and self-awareness exercises will be part of this journey. The talk will be held on Sundays, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm beginning August 9th. Once your register for this series, the link and full dates will be sent to you. I'm looking forward to beginning our journey together!
