My staff lounge will have limited privacy because one wall will double as a check in space with a window into the main check in/entry/lobby. There will be an area for teacher prep (lamination, cricut, ellison dies etc).
If you were my New Hire, what would you like to see in this room?

As a new hire looking at the staff lounge, I would like to see a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, a sink, a fair sized table to use when prepping lesson plans as well as on breaks. Comfortable seating, diecut, well stocked paper supply or at least access to such. Variety of scissors, laminator with laminating sheets... you know, the basics for successful lesson planning and a place to relax if only for a few minutes. And besides the lounge 2 adult bathrooms instead of the usual one for 30+ women and maybe a few men if the kids were so lucky!!

I would want to feel like the lounge is not just for teacher prep but also for relaxing.  My favorite teacher's lounge that I have experienced had a large table in the middle that folks could sit around and eat lunch together at.  There was a culture in the school of teachers going there to eat lunch and it created a definitive camaraderie.

The best use of space in my experience is to separate the staff lounge from the teacher workroom.  The staff lounge should be for informal teacher get-togethers like planning, eating lunch or simply taking a few deep breaths.  The teacher workroom should be close by, and it should be stocked with the items that have been mentioned by other viewers, particularly a Xerox machine and a die cut.
