Hello Colleagues,I'm wanted to share some information that I received via email today on a series of free webinars. For those of us looking to deepen our understanding of NAEYC's Advancing Equity Position Statement, you may find one or more of these webinars interesting:Free equity webinar series!
The Children’s Equity Project and the Bipartisan Policy Center are hosting a virtual webinar series to celebrate our new report, “Start with Equity – From the Early Years to the Early Grades: Data, Research, and an Actionable Child Equity Policy Agenda.” Our first webinar, which will be an overview of the report, is next week: Tuesday, July 14 at 3 p.m. ET. Please click here to register. The report reviews the state of the equity data, research, and policy landscapes from the early years to the early grades in key areas - including discipline, inclusion of children with disabilities, and dual language learning. It establishes an actionable, concrete policy road map for states and the federal government that can begin to bridge longstanding opportunity gaps and improve the learning conditions of children from historically marginalized communities. In the weeks following our July 14 launch, we will host deep dive webinars in each of our policy areas:
