I am not good at promoting myself, but I recently published an article on an online site (Community Playthings), which I believe would make an excellent piece for ECE college classes to use as a jumping off point for a discussion about race and racism in our field. The link is: http://www.communityplaythings.com/resources/articles/2020/the-way-forward

    Thanks!

Thank you for posting this article. Within my group of Waldorf earlychildhood educators, this is an article I am grateful to share. We are working most actively to take on anti-bias and anti-racist issues in our communities. I am a Waldorf teacher trainer in several settings and will share this article as an opening to get to open up conversation about the subtlely buried implicit biases which are imbedded below our daily consciousness.

I appreciate reading these threads and am grateful for recommended resources. I am working with Anti-bias Education from NAEYC and have just witten a review of the book for the Waldorf early childchood professional journal, Gateways.
