We had a pretty detailed guidance document in CA that expired June 30th, but this more open-ended one is still in effect - I'm in a public setting and this is what we are using in addition to the CDC guidelines - hope it helps:

Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) has provided good info. Go to their website and click the "covid" link- might take some scrolling around to find what you are looking for...

Hello! Another great resource is the document put together by the American Academy of Pediatricians. They have taken the CDC guidelines and developed developmentally appropriate practices along with risks for different age groups in school including Pre-K. The document is written in language which would be easily translated in parent communication.  Best wishes to all of you!

Good day! I just read back my response to the question about Is Racism Killing the Planet , and I am horrified to see that the words been and know were changed by auto-spell to Ben and no, and some was typed as sone. It's as if my keyboard has a mind of its own at time, or is having a breakdown.  Please, try to over-look those mistyped words and feel free to respond to the content of my message. Thank you!

    Good morning,
I am also in CA and we have been guided by licensing and County health to follow the strictest guidelines which for us, are the County guidelines.

Ratio is 1:10 with no more than 10 children per class in a stable group, no mixing of groups, etc.

We have changed our health policy. Children must be fever free 72 hours and 48 from vomiting episodes.

Our understanding is that you can not mandate anyone to quarantine if they travel (because really COVID is everywhere now) but we are requesting they consider it if they travel by airplane.

In addition to the other resources, I would contact your public health department and licensing office and see what their guidelines are.

Here in CT the State has provided comprehensive plans. Including (as per State Health Dept) quarantine for anyone who visits or has visitors from one of the "hot spot" States....
Re: temp. I would add "fever free/and etc w/o  medication (Tylenol/stomach meds)" How many times (even pre Covid) have you all heard at drop off: "Oh, BTW xyz had a fever/vomited/diarrhea  at 4:00 this morning but I gave him/her meds and now he/she is fine"....Many of the programs that I consult for have revised their policies so that they will not administer any meds other than for life threatening conditions until further notice.
