    Hello All!

I wanted to ask a question about the school aged children in programs and daycares. With so many children from different school districts, different ages, and different classes all in the same space trying to be helped by only a few teachers... is anyone having success in a making this work? The children all have different schedules, different times for snack and lunch, different times for breaks. It has become such a challenge to staff the rooms to have only a few teachers helping children navigate through remote learning especially the kindergarten children. We have staff who is doing runs with the students who need lunch, snacks, bathroom breaks, and need time outside to run out their energy. But again this presents the problem of staffing and having so many teachers with a small amount of children due to the demand of attention while doing remote learning but this is does not financially make sense. I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a system or has a success story of how to make any of this work? Thank you so much! Hope everyone is staying healthy! If you are struggling with this issue also I wish you the best of luck =)

The programs that are working well here invested in or constructed items to help.
    1. a hot box to  keep meals correct temp unitil that child's lunch break, snack set-up to self serve
    2. students set in pods with dividers. The pods are groups with like schedules. tables have plexiglass dividers
    3. extra staff to float and help (One has so Grand-parent Volunteers to to help students)
    4. on program got creative and each school-age student has a 6 foot apartment that contains all they need---the taped off units in the room allow social distant - mask are allowed off at the desk with the the plexiglass. it is a large room 10 students to a room. two groups a younger and older room

All health check before entry, all have releases, all wear mask, all CDC and State guides are followed
