    Hello all!

I have a question about the streamlined accreditation process. Are the family surveys still part of the process? I have been on the hunt for them on the Torch and NAEYC website and have not had any luck.

    Thank you in advance!!

From what I have learned about the new model, there is no survey requirement; however, NAEYC still encourages the use of both a family survey and a staff survey in order to best understand your stakeholders' needs.  You can use your own survey or any survey to gather important data.  Because it is no longer a requirement, the NAEYC survey has been removed from the accreditation website.

    Hello,

We just had our assessor visit in March.  The family surveys are no longer reviewed.   However, I have not found any on the website either. We are using a copy of a previous NAEYC survey for this year.   I would like to know if there are some available!

    Hello,
I attended several accreditation sessions at last November's NAEYC Annual Conference and was told the survey as it has existed from NAEYC is no longer assessed (and not available) but we are able to create our own and use results as evidence if we feel it proves a criteria for the program portfolio.  We've used our own family and staff survey results to set goals by center (we have four locations) and company-wide for the PPDP and shared these goals with families and staff in report form to prove the results of annual comprehensive reviews are shared.  This change has been positive for our program, we are able to ask families and staff what we feel is important.  We've received concrete ideas and feedback and were able to set practical goals for this year.
