Hello everyone:
I am thrilled to be joining NAEYC and to be able to reach out and Network with many more people in this Vital profession ! I have been a Professor at Touro College Graduate School of Education for more than a decade. I have spent many years teaching Teachers going for their Masters Degree in New York City. I have taught many courses over the years. My two Mainstay courses are Early Literacy Development from Birth through Pre-K and Patterns of Parenting and Early Intervention. I have spent many years working with teachers in how to do high quality read alouds. I would like to find out if others have any resources in this area. I am looking to submit an article in a related area. I hope to find like minded professionals here.
My current favorite early Childhood book cannot be only one I will have to choose two.
1) Flower Garden by Eve Bunting 2) Bee-Bim Bop by Linda Sue Park.
Looking forward to meeting so many of you and engaging a larger Early Childhood community.
