I am an early childhood trainer of teachers and an educational consultant living in South Africa. There are centers making use of cameras in the classrooms. It allows for parents to zoom into a classroom to see what their child is doing presumably to show an open policy from the center . This means any parent can watch any child and/or teacher any time of the day and is also used by principals to check on teachers. I am not at all positive about this practice. I came across  teachers who feel they are not trusted and parents feel their child's actions are open for other parents to see. I train principals/owners to have a positive relationship with their teachers, get involved with every teacher and empower them to be to best they can be through training and guidance. Make everybody part of the team and support each other. The same goes for building a positive relationship between parents and teachers with teachers giving plenty of personal feedback to parents regarding their children. Making use of a camera to me means taking away the personal relationships between persons and depending on a camera to take it's place. I also do not feel comfortable with the privacy of both teachers and children.  Input please?
