One of the strongest attributes of educators, which is particularly attuned in the early child community, is the amazing way we collaborate and share our experiences and practices.  This year's Virtual Institute is a new way for us to learn from each other and enrich ourselves as practitioners as well as enrich our programs.  I encourage you to explore the session link below, which is a discussion of Indiana's change process to broaden and strengthen program quality by shifting to program-driven assessment and continuous improvement efforts.  A key feature of the transition was on-going, direct inclusion of EC providers in the new systems design processes.  The end products were fortified by the contributions, voices and stories of IN's EC eco-system joined together to produce statewide resources to fit our diverse landscape of urban, suburban and rural programs.
