I am an early childhood specialist on Long Island and many of our child care programs are open for first responder families.
I'm looking for some feedback on social distancing in the early childhood classroom to share with our brave colleagues who are working under these circumstances. Early childhood professionals are by far the most dedicated and creative bunch out there...
Consider the health/safety factors, the social/emotional piece, the daily routine, learning environments and supporting families during this time.
Please share any ideas, accommodations or procedures that your programs have put into place in response to COVID-19.
