Are there plans for NAEYC to provide more training modules and resources in Spanish? I have been searching the NAEYC site for resources in Spanish (for teachers-in-training whose first language is Spanish) and found it to be very limited. Considering the Spanish language is the
second most spoken in the US, I am very surprised that there are not more resources in Spanish available through NAEYC. Moreover, the fact that there is a new draft of a NAEYC diversity statement emphasizing linguistically appropriate ECE classrooms, it seems it should be true of the trainings NAEYC provides to teachers.

I've included below some information about the NAEYC online modules, which might be helpful:
NAEYC currently has 5 online modules available in English, on developmentally appropriate practice and higher order thinking topics. All modules are self-paced, approximately 1-hour in length, and provide a certificate for 1 training hour upon completion. Two of the DAP online modules are also available in Mandarin. All NAEYC Standard members are eligible for 1 free module per membership year, and Premium members are eligible to receive 2 free modules per membership year.
Additionally, NAEYC just launched a new mini-course on Classroom-Based Assessment. This 3-hour course provides an overview of assessment, observation and documentation strategies for teachers. Please note: the Classroom-Based Assessment mini course is not eligible for the member benefit.

Can you recommend some good sources to find on-line trainings? While we do have some conferences in the area, I have a teacher who is looking for something deeper than the trainings/conferences that seem "basic" for her level of knowledge.
Thank you.
